This weekend my parents came to visit us. They got here Sat evening. We went to eat at TGI Fridays. It was so good!!! After that Eric the girls and I came home to get our swimming stuff to go over to the hotel that my parents were stay at to swim. We, Eric decided to leave Rusty out of his cage while we went swimming. It wasn't a big deal. We have left him about before and he has chewed on a few toys but nothing major. There wasn't any toys left out for him to chew. He had his toys. We were gone for 1 1/2 hours. Not too long. Hes been out longer then that before!!! This is what we came home too 1- poop on the floor 2- pee on the floor 3- pee on our ottoman 4- he chewed and scratched a hole in the ottoman. See pics below!!!!
Now as you can imagine Eric was BEYOND PISSED!! He didn't even notice the hole in the ottoman until I pointed it out. Now Rusty got the piss beat out of him. Sorry if this offends you but really what would you do?!?! So Eric is all mad and keeps telling me that hes gone. We are done with him on and on. He had to sleep in his cage all night ( that hasnt happened since Christmas). Well we wake up the next morning, Eric is still mad and still wants to get rid of him. My parents come over and Rusty had to stay in his cage the whole time. Parents leave around noon. Eric still wants to get rid of him or at least that's what he is telling me. So Sunday night comes. I ask Eric what we are going to do. He doesn't know now. Hes feeling sorry for the dog because he has been in so much trouble. I don't feel sorry for the little mutt at all. I cant believe that he did something like that. We haven't even had the couch a year and the warranty wont cover this. Madelyn and I are so ready to get rid of him. Now Eric still hasn't told me what we are going to do so guess what that means?!?!!? We are keeping him. Guess you can say Rusty is wrapped around Eric's finger just like his little girls!!! So stay tuned to find out if anything else exciting happens in the Hoehn household!!!

OH.MY.GOSH I can't believe he did that to your furniture! That's awful! I know you were fuming too! (I am a little sad eric beat him, but I understand...)
Rusty is Eric's only testostoronie buddy in the tri-state area. He probably does wanna keep him around... :)
We have a stray beagle that sits out in the yard & barks NON-STOP at Sparky on the porch & drives me to scream 'SHUT UP!' & slam my hand on the living room window to make him stop (but only for a moment..) if that makes you feel any better! ;)
We cant believe that either. He has never chewed anything up like puppies do. I dont know why he did it. We were so mad. Eric I guess is over it but Im not really. I mean we give this dog everything and he did this. Whatever!
Thats funny about the stray dog. Too bad the cats just dont attack it!! Just shoot it with a bb gun. (Didnt you try that before with a stray dog and we couldnt get it to work? Seems like I remember something like that!!)
