PUMPKIN PICKING!!

On Saturday we found this little farm place that you could pick pumpkins at. I was very excited!! When Madelyn was born I wanted to start a tradition that we go and pick pumpkins every year at Hubers. Well since we moved I was worried we wouldn't be able to find a place here to do it. Well I finally found one. Its not as cool at Hubers but hey the girls still had a good time. This farm in called Young's Jersey Dairy.



Madelyn was so excited about pumpkins. She thought this is the ones we had to pick!! She had no clue we were going to go on a tractor!!

So I tried to get a good picture with both girls. Well Eric took like 10 and there was not one that both of them were looking!!

Here is another one!! Guess there was something on the ground that we more interesting!!

I tried to get one with Payton while we were waiting to get on the tractor!! I think it was the sun in her eyes and thats why she wouldn't look at the camera!!

We got to the field and they had wagons there you could use. So Madelyn had to help daddy with it!! She is such a big helper!!

Payton and I waited by the wagon!! Can you tell she is having a GREAT time!!

We got our pumpkins and now it was time to get back to the tractor. Madelyn had to pull the wagon this time. She also had to carry all the pumpkins too. She tried to pick the biggest ones out there but daddy told her if you want it you have to be able to carry it!! He's so mean!!

Child Labor?!?! I guess it isn't when she yells at you and says "No, I do it!!" No she doesn't have an attitude or anything!!

I love this picture!! There was a lady with her granddaughter waiting to go back also. She asked me if I wanted her to take a family picture!! So I said yes thank you so much!! It turned out to be a great one. She was so nice. This is the FIRST friendly person we have talked to in Ohio. Eric looked at me and said she must not be from Ohio. She was too nice!!!

After picking pumpkins there were some things for the kids to do. Madelyn played on the tractors!! Eric thinks she really is a honky!! I guess you can take the girl out of the country but you cant take the country out of the girl!!! She is our little hillbilly!!

She didn't understand what to do!! She is cute though!!

She wanted to climb over them!! Oh well whatever makes her happy!!

Our annual family pumpkin picking was a very good time!! We were there to 2 hrs and only spent $15 for 4 pumpkins, bottle water, tractor ride, petting zoo and great fun!! Cant beat it!! Looks like we will be going back there next year since we will still be here in Ohio!!

For lunch yesterday Madelyn wanted a pb and j. So I figured that Payton could eat one too. She doesn't eat baby food at all anymore and she rarely takes a bottle. She wants real food. So I made her a 1/2 one and cut it into little bites. She was so cute eating it. Madelyn makes a big mess when she eats them!! Here are some cute pictures of the girls!!

So here are just some random pictures from when we got back home after the wedding and everything!! Some of the pictures are sideways and I don't know why. They weren't like that when I uploaded them!!

Rusty is now so big!! These pictures don't show it at all!! He is now 30 lbs!!! not even 1/2 his weight yet!! Im kinda scared to see how big he is going to be!!

In our house if your bad you go to jail!!! No I'm just kidding. We put this gate up to keep the kids out of the kitchen.

Madelyn loves to dress herself now. Well I guess she gets cold so she dresses in layers!! There are like 5 shirts there and 2 on her head!! She was to leave it like this so she could show daddy after work because we would tell her she is pretty!! She is a trip!!

Country Bumpkin

While we were home Madelyn wanted to ride in the Big Tractor. So she is very smart and asked Papaw and of course he said well bring her to the field and she can ride in the tractor with me and she can ride in the combine with Brad!! Well yeah that sounds like a good plan but if anyone knows Madelyn then they know she doesn't like men very well so she take awhile to warm up to Brad and anything she has never seen before scares her. Esp a big combine!! We tried it anyways!!! I didn't get any pictures in the combine.l She was holding on for dear life!!


She is ready!! Flip Flops and all or at least she thinks she is!!!


Here she is driving the tractor!! She did have fun even though her face doesn't show it!!

When we were leaving Papaw gave her some corn!! She ate some it it because he told her it was good. The whole way home she tried to eat it but it was too hard!!!

She really liked riding in tractor and combine. Now anytime she sees them she thinks its Brad and Papaw. So she wants to go ride!! Guess we will have to make another trip home soon so she can do it again!!!

Dont Touch Ear, I Got Ear Pierced!!

So I know I'm a little late with these post but I was at my mom's house for over a week to get ready for the wedding. She doesn't have high speed so I couldn't upload pics. Then our power cord to the lap top broke so we just got a new so I can finally upload pics and stuff!!!

So I took the girls to the mall the weekend before the wedding to get their ears' pierced!! Madelyn has been asking for awhile now. Eric didn't want her to get it done yet but I didn't care anymore!! I thought it was time. So I did it anyway!! I told the girls not to touch the ears because they have to heal and if you touch them it might make you sick!! Well they have done so good about not touching!! I thought Payton would never leave them alone but neither of the girls bother it. So Madelyn tells Eric when he tries to touch her ears "Don't touch ears. I got ear pierced!" This is while she is pointing her finger at him and yelling it at the same time!!



Madelyn was first!! She has no clue what is about to happen!!

Getting her ears cleaned!! She thought this was bad!!!

Still she has no clue!! Love her face!!

Getting the dots on her ears. I also informed her that if they would they should to both ears at the same time or she wouldn't let anyone touch her second ear if they didn't.

Now time for Payton. She was sound asleep in the stroller. So she really has no clue!!

Ear 2!! She did so good!! Handled it a lot better then Madelyn!! I don't think she really even cried!! I also don't think she was awake enough to realize either!!!

The girls are so cute and girly looking now!! Since my kids don't grow hair!! I will ask Madelyn if she wants them done again and she says " No it poke!" Too funny!! Eric thinks they are cute now too!!!
