The Good, The Bad, and Whatever Else

So I have decided to do this blog off about memories. I never do these but I figured this one would be fun!!

So I have a few memories that I will NEVER forget in the order they happened.

1- This isn't my best moment but it was my sophomore year in high school the night we lost in sectionals. I talked my mom into letting me go to a party. She was not about it but I told her it will be fine nothing will happen Ill stay there and come home in the morning!! Well how wring I was that nothing was going to happen. We got BUSTED!!! I was so scared. I had drank only one drink and we all had to take breathalyzers. I think there were only 2 people that didnt pass. Til this day I still have the little straw thing you had to blow into and I know I blew a 0.007. Def not my proudest moment but I will never forget it!!!

2- There are 2 pictures that I will also have in my head and one of them is going to the hospital seeing my grandpa there after his long hard battle with pancreatic cancer. That was the hardest day of my life until I had Payton. I was very close to him. I remember doing all kinds of things with him too and the one thing that was so funny and remember most of all is when we were opening walnuts with a hammer and he told me his birthday was the same day as mine. I thought he was joking and my grandma told me no it really is. I looked at him and said " well it cant be your birthday because it was mine first!!" He was such a great guy and I hate that he wasn't here to see Madelyn and Payton and see me get married. Not a day goes by that I dont think of him. We had a lot of good times together.

3- I know we arent supposed to talk about having babies, but this kinda ties into having Payton. Everyone knows about her entrance into the world but getting to actually see her for the first time was amazing. Then seeing all the babies in the NICU at Kosair's was a different experience. So many babies with all kinds of different things wrong with them. Then hearing how a lot of the babies dont have their mommy or daddy come see them just broke my heart. It was an eye opener seeing these poor little babies and them not having a mommy or daddy to connect to. How can anyone do that. After talking to nurses about it and seeing it first hand had made me want to get my RN license and work in the NICU at any hospital and give the babies the care and attention they need. I plan to start working on this when we figure out where we are going to be.

I do have another memory I wanted to share but its against the rules to talk about so Ill sum it up in few sentences. The day of my wedding at Kye's a transformer blew!! How many people can say they had that happen and it was one wedding im sure no one will forget about, and the fact you got to get drunk before the ceremony even took place!!! I wouldn't change the way that day happened for anything!!!

What a Weekend

This weekend my parents came to visit us. They got here Sat evening. We went to eat at TGI Fridays. It was so good!!! After that Eric the girls and I came home to get our swimming stuff to go over to the hotel that my parents were stay at to swim. We, Eric decided to leave Rusty out of his cage while we went swimming. It wasn't a big deal. We have left him about before and he has chewed on a few toys but nothing major. There wasn't any toys left out for him to chew. He had his toys. We were gone for 1 1/2 hours. Not too long. Hes been out longer then that before!!! This is what we came home too 1- poop on the floor 2- pee on the floor 3- pee on our ottoman 4- he chewed and scratched a hole in the ottoman. See pics below!!!!



Now as you can imagine Eric was BEYOND PISSED!! He didn't even notice the hole in the ottoman until I pointed it out. Now Rusty got the piss beat out of him. Sorry if this offends you but really what would you do?!?! So Eric is all mad and keeps telling me that hes gone. We are done with him on and on. He had to sleep in his cage all night ( that hasnt happened since Christmas). Well we wake up the next morning, Eric is still mad and still wants to get rid of him. My parents come over and Rusty had to stay in his cage the whole time. Parents leave around noon. Eric still wants to get rid of him or at least that's what he is telling me. So Sunday night comes. I ask Eric what we are going to do. He doesn't know now. Hes feeling sorry for the dog because he has been in so much trouble. I don't feel sorry for the little mutt at all. I cant believe that he did something like that. We haven't even had the couch a year and the warranty wont cover this. Madelyn and I are so ready to get rid of him. Now Eric still hasn't told me what we are going to do so guess what that means?!?!!? We are keeping him. Guess you can say Rusty is wrapped around Eric's finger just like his little girls!!! So stay tuned to find out if anything else exciting happens in the Hoehn household!!!

Crazy Kids

The girls have learned how to climb up on their dresser. I think that Madelyn actually taught Payton how to do it. I didn't get any pictures of the both of them on it but I did get 2 of Payton.



After one of her 20 naps she takes, I walked in to get her up and this is where I found her. At least she thinks to funny!! Notice her crazy hair!

She is a crazy kid and our little dare devil. She is now starting to jump off the couch.

The girls were playing in their room just laughing so hard and I walked in there and they were in this. This is what we keep all the kitchen toys in. As you can see the toys don't stay in there!!

They are too much, but so cute!!

Rainy Day

Today has been a lazy rainy day with storms. I have 2 children that are scared of the storms. Madelyn and Rusty. Payton could care less. Madelyn tells me that thunder is going to come get her. Rusty just keeps barking because he thinks there is something outside that's going to get him. He's not the smartest dog!!



The girls decided to just lay on the couch and watch some TV.


They are just too cute!!!


Rusty is just to scared to even play with his toy.

Poor little guy is scared to death and now cant go out to potty. He CANT get wet or he might melt. Or so he thinks!!

I really wish these storms would go away!! I hate them!! Tonight is only supposed to get worse!!

Start of Warm Weather

It was no nice out yesterday. So we took the girls on a little walk after dinner. There is a really nice walking path on base right across the street from our apartment. It's so nice to have it that close!!! I hope this nice weather is here to stay!!!

They didn't make it to far before Madelyn had to stop because she had something in her shoe. In her words " Sompting itchin me."

I figured Payton and I needed a picture in here too!!

So this picture is kinda hard to see but I tried to get that building because it is HUGE and its a daycare for only kids that arent school age. Thats only one of I think 4. I've never seen such a big daycare.

Madelyn had to stop and pick some flowers.

She needed a little break from walking. We walked over a mile!!

We had a little creature visit us on the walk!!

Then Madelyn found a walking stick. She broke it about 2 minutes later!! Thank goodness because I thought she was going to hit someone with it!!

What cute little girls!!!

This morning the girls and I had some running around to do. We got dressed and Payton wanted a bow in her hair. She never leaves them in but for some reason today she did!!! When Madelyn was that Payton had a bow she thought she needed one too. So we made it out of the house with them in but didnt make it back with them!!! But hey its better then we normally do!!!

Family Member in Jail?!?!

Wed night we had a slight problem in the Hoehn house. Our 3rd child, Rusty ran away. We finally got him back Saturday afternoon. Eric said he was scared to death in there and felt so sorry for him. Madelyn and Payton missed him very much and much to my surprise I missed him a lot too. I guess he really is our 3rd child. They told Eric the vet was going to come on Monday and check him out then he would be up for adoption and he wouldn't have lasted long there. He would have been adopted by Tuesday. Glad we found out where he was. Looks like Rusty will be part of this family for a long time now.


This is his picture they had on the Animal Control's website. He got picked up on Thursday. We think someone kept him Wed night and called animal control Thursday morning! He didn't make it out of the apartment complex according to they papers they had on him.
